24 h Berlin or 24 hours are one day

24 hours are one day

My contribution came from our bookshelf. Today I got the book »24 Stunden sind ein Tag — Berlin, Hauptstadt der DDR« (meaning: 24 hours are one day — Berlin, capital of the GDR) (Editor: Berlin-Information, about the late 70s) into my hands.
The text on page 5 as a witness: »… heard, understood, visited, admired, explored and celebrated, because here is socialism and peace at home .…« The first photo inside shows the television tower and the Red City Hall, the second »… Comrade Erich Honecker … takes the greetings of the Young and Thaelmann-Pioneers …«. Apart from the »Kessel Buntes« (famous GDR tv show) with ABBA and Karel Gott to the »Captain of Köpenick« and several glorious 70s architecture photos, this book shows everything.
