The patterns of my life gone by upon your tapestry

How many drugs do you have to take to come up with lyrics like this? Probably many! It comes from the song »The Weaver’s Answer« from the 2nd albums Family Entertainmant of the British rock band Family. In this song – it nevertheless reached #6 in the UK charts – sees a dying old man his life gone by on a tapestry. Lead singer Roger Chapman sings the song with a great deal of grit and a bluesy voice. In addition to Chapman one of the musicians was Ric Grech, who left the band after this album and co-founded with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Steve Winwood, the »supergroup« Blind Faith.
There will be a blog post about Blind Faith in August!
