fortytwo

There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable …

… There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

bassa “Berlin Tango” Videoclip (2:50 min)

Since mid-2009 we have worked on the video clip from the title song of the new bassa CD — Berlin Tango. The musicians were, individually and with changing costumes recorded in front of a green screen and then cropped out of the background. Then, with still images and stock photos we built the wrong cards and the old-fashioned cork bulletin board in Photoshop and then »brought it to life« with After Effects. This compositionswere then incorporated into the pin board, accompanied by other effects and rendered as a video in HD quality. You can see the result (not the HD version) here.

TV stations, we can — request in consultation with bassa — of course, ask for the HD version (1280 by 720 pixels).

Animated logo for »PowerPoint aktuell«

On behalf of the Verlag für Computerwissen, we have created an animated logo, which can be integrated into videos or presentations. There is both an HD version with 1280 by 720 pixels, as well as a blog version in the ratio 4:3 (800 by 600 pixels).

video trailer for PowerPoint User Days 2009

Two months before the PowerPoint User Days — October 25th until 27th, 2009 in Fulda/Germany — take place, we produced the first video trailer for this event and put it on the anwendertage.de website.

The video effects are made in cooperation with Elmar Strotmann using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. The music was specially composed by Alexander Semrow for the user days.

How Photoshop CS4 saved my day!

How Photoshop CS4 saved the day!
A few days ago I participated in an Adobe/Layers Magazine contest titled How Photoshop CS4 Saved the Day. I do this from time to time not hoping to win anything, but whatever … Likewise from time to time I take a look at my spam folder and: Surprise! Yesterday I received a mail with a winning info from the above mentioned contest. I do consider now to buy a ticket for the italian national lottery (with a 149 Mio Euro jackpot).
You can watch my participation video on Screencast.com!

New intro for PowerPoint-TV

We’ve created a new intro for PowerPoint-TV. The credits and the short interim jingles were also adapted to the new look. The music stays the same, which was composed by Ralf Meyer-Wilmes and recorded.
